Giving

Why We Give

Our mission is to introduce people to Jesus and help them follow Him.

Following Jesus shapes every part of our lives, including how we handle our finances.

We are generous because God is generous.

God has given us life, salvation, and every good gift through Christ. Generosity isn’t something we do for God; it’s something we learn from God. Our giving is simply a response to His generosity.

John 3:16; James 1:17; Matthew 7:7-11

We trust God more than money.

Generosity gives us what money only promises. Money promises security, peace, and significance but often fails to deliver them. In contrast, God gives us true refuge, comfort, and purpose. Through regular giving, God forms our hearts, loosens money’s grip on us, and teaches us to depend on Him.

Matthew 6:19-21; 1 Timothy 6:17-19; Malachi 3:10

We don’t own it;
we manage it.

Everything we have belongs to God and is entrusted to us to manage faithfully for His purposes. As we grow in trust and obedience, our generosity follows.

Matthew 25:14-30; Luke 16:10-13

90% with God’s blessing is more than 100% on our own.

The practice of giving 10% of our income back to God is noted throughout the Bible. Some debate whether tithing is an absolute requirement for Christians, but when we think of all Jesus has done for us, we joyfully aspire to give back 10% to God and even more as we are blessed.

Exodus 23:19; Leviticus 27:30;
Deuteronomy 14:22-27; Mark 10:17-27

We give generously to help rescue others.

God invites us to join Him in changing lives. We give so that others may experience the hope, healing, and new life we’ve found in Jesus.

Acts 2:44-47; 2 Corinthians 9:11-15

Following Jesus shapes every part of our lives, including how we handle our finances.

Give something, give it regularly, and grow in it.

Give something, give it regularly, and grow in it.

Regular giving creates space for God to shape our trust and obedience. As we give, we learn to depend on Him rather than money and faithfully manage what He has entrusted to us.
