Kids Camp FAQs

What time is Kids Camp? 

9 AM till 4 PM

Before and After Camp Care: 

We also offer Before and After Camp Care for $5 per child per day. This covers 7:30-8:25 AM and 4:25-5:30 PM.

Where is Kids Camp held?

Central Church, Henderson.

What is the Drop Off/ Pick up procedure? 

We will send details closer to camp. 

What is the cost? 

Camp is just $100 for 3 full days. This includes lunch, snacks, and a free t-shirt. 

When is the last day to register? 

The final day to sign up for Kids Camp is May 31st, 2027. Registration may close before that if the camp hits capacity.

What food will be available at Kids Camp? 

We will provide lunch and a snack for your child. We are a nut-free environment. The menu will be emailed out closer to the camp date. If your child has particular dietary requirements, you will be able to send them with their own nut-free lunch and snack. Additional food items will be available for purchase from our ‘Snack-Shack’ (details about this will be provided during the Parent Information meeting – date TBD). 

What are some safety protocols during Kids Camp? 

All of our leaders and volunteers have been Background Checked and completed their Camp Sexual Abuse and Awareness Training through Ministry Safe. We will have a security team on site during Kids Camp. Kids will spend the entirety of Kids Camp with their small group team and Leader. Kids are never alone, and we have a ‘Kids Only’ restroom that is gender specific and has security monitoring them. The Church building is ‘locked down’ to the public during Kids Camp. You will be able to contact a Kids Camp representative at all times during camp. 

What should my child wear? 

Closer to camp you will be told what the THEME DAYS are for Kids Camp. Kids are encouraged to wear comfortable clothing with closed-toe shoes for running around (no clogs or flip-flops). Please ensure all clothing does not have explicit or inappropriate slogans and does not reveal any private body parts usually covered by swimsuits. Please send a labelled sweatshirt with your child, as some of the air-conditioned rooms can get quite chilly. 

Small Group Structure: 

Your child will be placed in a small group of 8-10 children in the same grade. These may be mixed genders. 

Financial Assistance. 

Financial assistance is available, dependent on donations. Talk to your child’s church leader on the weekend to apply.
